Nach dem letzten St. Johannes Fest zu Pfingsten am 09.06.2019 konnte die St. Johannes Bruderschaft endlich wieder feiern. Die Bruderschaft feierte mit ca. 180 Besuchern sein 199. Geburtstag.
Nach dem Königstanz begrüßte Oberst Tobias Mettig alle Vorstände sowie Gäste und bedankte sich für den Arbeitseinsatz in der Stadthalle. Ohne die notwendigen Sanierungsmaßnahmen wäre das Pfingstfest nicht zustande gekommen.
König Jan Brinkmann stellte nun seinen Hofstaat vor, dieses sind:

Schäffer Luca Schwanitz mit Zoé Messner-Lappe
Adjutant Marvin Kanitz mit Anna Müller
Fähnrich Alexander Roth mit Klara Müller
Königsoffizier Pascal Waltemate mit Sina Pape
Fahnenoffizier Jan-Luca Mierse mit Pia Kleimann
Anschließend hat sich der Vorsitzende Mario Schmidt bei der Bruderschaft und dem Hofstaat bedankt. Auch hier war die Stadthalle ein besonderes Thema. Mario sagte „Es war viel Arbeit, aber wenn ich die geschmückte Halle sehe und diese Stimmung mitbekomme, dann hat sich die Arbeit gelohnt.“
Der Vorsitzende durfte jetzt die Ehrungen vornehmen.
Für die Regentschaft vor 60 Jahren wurden Josef Hartmann und Annemarie Robrecht (geb. Böddecker), für die Regentschaft vor 50 Jahren Heinrich Sprock (verstorben) und Elisabeth Siegmund (geb. Volpert), für die Regentschaft vor 40 Jahren Stefan Hesselmann und Cornelia Hesselmann (geb. Jakobi) in Abwesenheit geehrt.
Anwesend war das Königspaar von 1997 (25 Jahre) Michael Hille und Dagmar Hille (geb. Risse). Während der Ehrung erwähnte der Vorsitzende Mario Schmidt das schlechte Wetter am Schützenfest Samstag von 1997 und dieses wünschte er dem amtierenden Königspaar nicht. Das Königspaar durfte nun die Ehrung durchführen und der Jubelkönigin Dagmar einen Blumenstrauß überreichen.
Traditionell wurden noch die Schützenbrüder für die eine 10-jährige Mitgliedschaft in der St. Johannes Bruderschaft geehrt. Dieses waren Volker Kröger, Philipp Brinkmann und Jens Wiegers.
Bevor DJ Boris die Halle zum Beben bringen konnte hat Mario Schmidt noch alle Anwesenden zum Vitusfest und Schützenfest 2022 eingeladen.
